DIY Homemade Multi-Liquid Fertilizer Monitor
I designed this system a few years ago but haven't really documented it on my website. I have a few farmers using it and have enhanced it this summer (2025).
Up to 4 Fertilizers, several ranges
This system is super flexible. Up to 16 flowmeters can plug into a single control box. Control boxes can be daisy-chained together so one can place flowmeters
in the center of the planter or on the wings or a combination (I've done 3 together, will 4 work?). The app will handle 64 meters, I've tested 48.
Flowmeters can be plugged into any wire on the control box and matched with its fertilizer and displayed anywhere desired on the 2 graphs.
I customize the control boxes for the number of flowmeters needed.
This system can be used with flowmeters near each row by using a planter-harness type wiring system and a single control box with a 37 pin AMP connector.
